An nri couple has disclosed how they are living their best lives, even though they have paid out half of their salary in taxes and have only enough money saved for a return journey.  An indian couple residing in Sweden, annamalai Ramanathan and meena Palaniappan, informed the media that they only have 50,000 Swedish Kronas (₹4 Lakh), which is roughly the same amount needed for a plane ticket to India.  They clarified that saving is no longer essential due to the nation's excellent social security system.

They receive sufficient benefits, such as coverage for medical expenses, job loss, and free child education, even when taxes reach 50%.  Because they can plainly see that it is being used for the correct purpose, they don't mind paying such a large sum each month.  In contrast, a lot of people in india are struggling with hefty medical expenditures, unemployment, and the cost of education.

If Sweden's example is any indication, the middle class will be willing to pay high taxes if they see that the nation is making progress.  People in india are left to handle these hazards by themselves.  Many indians are thus emigrating to nations with more dependable systems.
