Maruthi's horror-comedy flick The raja Saab, starring prabhas, has encountered some unforeseen obstacles since its premiere. Originally scheduled for release on april 10, the film's developers are currently looking into alternate dates, and there are hints that it may see yet another postponement.

The post-production work, particularly the visual effects, is still ongoing even though the filming is almost over.  The crew is determined to maintain the highest standards of quality because the picture, which belongs to the horror genre, demands a lot of graphics, VFX, and CGI components.  Although Maruthi is renowned for finishing his movies quickly, he has had to approach The raja Saab with additional caution, much like filmmakers sukumar or Rajamouli, because it is a blockbuster movie starring Prabhas.

Maruthi wants to make sure that this project, which is important for his career, produces a high-quality result, even if it takes longer than expected.  As a result, the creators are reportedly considering a new possible release date of July 18 in place of the previously suggested april 10 release date.  This date hasn't been set yet, though, and more time may still be needed for post-production, especially for visual effects.

Prabhas' fans have extremely high expectations because his movies are often launched on a large scale.  Fans are beginning to worry that The raja Saab may have a similar delay like past ones with films like Adipurush, Salaar, and Kalki2898 AD.  Additionally, according to reports, prabhas may require an additional two weeks to film a few key parts.  Now, the emphasis is on making sure the visual effects are up to par before the movie is released.

Instead of hurrying the film's release, the producers are apparently taking their time to improve its quality.  When the filmmakers will formally reveal The raja Saab's verified release date is yet unknown.
