The OTT globe has gone crazy over Kichcha Sudeep's most recent action movie, Max, which was directed by Vijay Karthikeyan. A few days ago, the movie was made available on Zee5 following its december 2024 theatrical premiere. In less than 72 hours, the movie has already amassed an incredible 100 million minutes of streaming time.
 
 Max, which features sudeep in the character of ACP arjun Mahakshay, often known as Max, marks his comeback to the big screen following a lengthy hiatus.  The movie chronicles his journey as he returns to service following suspension and overcomes unforeseen obstacles.  Sudeep gives a powerful, captivating, and dramatic performance.

Max is a good watch, especially for action fans, because of his captivating on-screen persona.  Because of the film's captivating, action-packed first half, fans liken the story to that of the 2019 movie Kaithi.  Nonetheless, a lot of spectators thought the second half stalled, which diminished the overall effect.  Even a mildly interesting movie may draw a sizable audience on OTT, where Max has achieved success in spite of its shortcomings.
 
Netflix and Prime appear to be missing out on the film's enormous engagement, while Zee5 is benefiting.  Additionally, a broader distribution on these platforms may have greatly expanded Max and Sudeep's audience.  In any case, Max has definitely established itself in the OTT market and confirmed Sudeep's star power with such remarkable figures in a short period of time.
