The premise of Netflix's "Dabba Cartel" appears fascinating based on the trailer that was released yesterday.  Five women who run a narcotics cartel under the guise of managing a dabba business.  In a sense, it may be the female-led version of Breaking Bad in India. The program appears to have a lot of promise, but it isn't receiving the publicity it merits.  Farhan Akhtar's Excel Entertainment, which is well-known for epic tales like Mirzapur, supports Dabba Cartel.  Strong performers like jyothika and shabana azmi are part of the cast.

However, despite having such valuable information, Dabba Cartel doesn't generate much excitement and social media users are largely quiet about it.  There are hardly any postings about the program on instagram or X, and the only interaction it receives is most likely from the trailer's comments.

This is disheartening since people typically lament the dearth of shows with talented performers, and now when a potentially decent show is on the horizon, there is almost no buzz.  It is possible that the program might become the next big thing on indian OTT if Netflix pushes it more seriously. Let's see how this show scores!
