
Fraud and rape case of bollywood actress: thane police registered FIR after High Court's strictness
Bollywood Actress Rape Case: Thane police has registered a case of rape and fraud against a businessman and his associate on the complaint of a bollywood actress. The FIR was registered when the police assured action during the hearing in the bombay High Court.
The police did not take any action for three months
The actress had approached the court because no action was taken on her complaint for three months. She was forced to seek judicial intervention.
The petition claimed that the actress met Jubilant Foodworks chairman shyam Sundar Bhartia in a hotel. He called the actress to Singapore, where she was given intoxicants and then raped on May 18, 2023. During this, her colleague pooja Singh recorded the video of the incident. It is alleged that this exploitation continued for three days.
Threats and financial fraud
The complainant claimed that after this the accused kept blackmailing her through videos and forcing her to meet him several times in hotels in mumbai and Delhi. Also, Singh promised to invest Rs 50 crore by making the actress a director in the company, but till march 18, 2024, only Rs 9.44 crore was invested, which was transferred to the actress' account without her knowledge.
FIR registered after High Court's strictness
The actress claimed that she had lodged a complaint with the thane police on november 11, 2024, but no action was taken. When the high court questioned the police about the delay, no satisfactory answer was received. After this, the thane police Commissioner was ordered to appear through video conferencing. Then ACP Rajkumar Dongre confirmed the registration of the FIR.
