When HUD employees arrived on monday morning with the goal of "ensuring Americans have access to fair, affordable housing and opportunities to achieve self-sufficiency, thereby strengthening [the] nation," they were greeted by an odd sight: office televisions showing an artificial intelligence (AI)-generated video that featured billionaire Elon Musk and former President Donald Trump.  Trump was seen licking Musk's toes in the video, which was captioned, "LONG LIVE THE REAL KING."

It appears that Trump's Truth Social post from last week was referenced in the video.  Trump wrote, "Long Live the King!" as the caption for his photo.

Another waste of government money and resources," department spokesman Kasey Lovett told business Insider.  Everyone concerned will receive the proper treatment."

By the time they arrived, shortly before nine in the morning, one HUD staffer observed that the footage had already been taken off the displays.  The film was shown in HUD's office, according to many accounts.

The American Federation of government Employees union verified the video's airing, according to business Insider.
