According to officials on Monday, a police constable reportedly raped a 17-year-old rape survivor at a hotel in Bengaluru. The event happened in december when, under the guise of assisting the survivor, policeman Arun urged her to meet at a hotel. Officials claim that the teenager first became friends with Vicky, who reportedly raped her after making a bogus marriage commitment. Vicky attacked the girl as well.

Despite the fact that Arun became friends with the perpetrator, the survivor's mother complained to the Bommanahalli police. The girl was promised justice by the policeman, who also offered to help her find employment.  reportedly, he summoned her to a hotel, where he reportedly laced sedatives in a bottle of vodka and made her drink it.  According to the officials, Arun then sexually assaulted the victim and threatened to release her personal footage if she told anybody about it.

Arun and Vicky have both been taken into custody and charged in accordance with different sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act. The defendants have been placed under 14 days of court detention remand. This has shocked everyone in the city.
