JioHotstar was introduced a few days ago as a result of the merging of jio and Disney+ Hotstar.  However, given that it has already begun to encounter issues, it appears that the new platform will require some time to get a favorable response.  Numerous remarks on social media sites have been made by the public condemning JioHotstar for streaming problems that have arisen when people have attempted to watch live cricket events.
 
Some users have even captured and circulated recordings in which JioHotstar continuously buffers and delays the start of the match. There were even some that displayed an error message on the screen indicating that there was a technical problem with the broadcast provider.  Notably, JioHotstar has not responded to the ongoing problem, and it is still unclear when it will be resolved.  But the current state of affairs has once again demonstrated that everyone benefited from Disney+ Hotstar's existence.
 
Since its debut, JioHotstar has received a lot of criticism.  Many people didn't like the logo either, and the streaming quality has been criticized for lacking alternatives over 1080p.  Although the merger made it easier to combine the material of the two platforms, it is still unclear if the persistent problems and public concerns would result in any changes or return things to how they were before the merger.
