This year, the esteemed Miss World contest will take place in Hyderabad. The pageant is scheduled for May 4–May 31. hyderabad will host the opening and closing ceremonies in addition to the grand finale. According to the organizers, a number of activities will take place around the state. The pageant will feature contestants from 140 nations.
 
The Miss World pageant has previously held in india in 1996 and 2024.  It took place in mumbai in 2024.  Despite fierce competition from dubai this year, hyderabad was given the opportunity.  In addition to Hyderabad's status as a world-class metropolis, the city's rich history and the state's picturesque villages contributed to the major event's success.

In addition to being a center for education and pharmaceuticals, hyderabad boasts excellent infrastructure, one of the greatest airports (Shamshabad), and nice weather.  According to Smita Sabharwal, principal secretary for tourism and culture, Julia Morli, CEO, and Miss World Chairman, all of these circumstances provided hyderabad with the possibility.  Smita Sabharwal added that bringing the pageant to the world required a lot of work.  She continued by saying that the pageant will bring attention to tourism in the state's interior.  According to Smita, there may be certain events that focus on telangana art and culture.
