The long-awaited partnership between Jr. ntr and kgf director prashanth neel has finally got off.  In august 2024, a puja ritual marked the start of the film's pre-production, which was first titled NTRNEEL or Dragon.  The film's creators have now formally begun filming and released a set photo.  In the picture, Neel is seen standing on top of a car and giving instructions to a sizable group of people against a background of burned tires, automobiles, and bicycles.
 
"Finally the time has come," commented Likitha reddy Neel, Prashanth Neel's wife, with the same photo.  The rest is history after he grabs that microphone.  The bloodiest battle starts.  Welcome to the DESTRUCTION TERRITORY.  Looking forward to ntr Anna joining the sets.  Rumor has claimed that Dragon will be the final title, with kannada actress Rukmini Vasanth and malayalam actor tovino thomas joining the cast. However, there has been no official confirmation of this.  January 9, 2026 is the planned date of the movie's theatrical debut.
 
In the meantime, Jr. ntr just finished Devara: Part 1 and will co-star with hrithik roshan in war 2, his bollywood debut.  Fresh off the success of Salaar: Part 1, prashanth neel is said to start work on the sequel after finishing this project.
