Fans were furious after pakistan lost to india in the Champions Trophy, but things took a strange turn when a section of Pakistani media attributed the result to "black magic."  The internet has been buzzing with a video of the same thing.

A program aired on 'Discover Pakistan' featured a panel claiming that India's victory was due to puja, prarthna, and jaadi-tona (rituals and black magic).

One of the panelists said, "India ne apne 22 pandit dubai stadium mein utaar diye. Har player par 2-2 pandit honge. Aur vo itne jaadu tone kar rhe hain ki Pakistani players distract ho rahe hain. Yahi vajah thi ki india pakistan nahi aana chah raha tha. Kyuki unko pata tha ki india jab pakistan aayega tab unke pandit yahan nahi aa sakenge. (India had 22 pandits inside the dubai stadium, two for each player, performing rituals to distract Pakistani cricketers. That is why india refused to play in pakistan - they knew their pandits wouldn't be able to travel there.)"

Another panelist boldly remarked, "They are playing so well out of nowhere," as if that weren't enough.  How is that feasible, in your opinion?  only by using these tactics."

Other panelists maintained that "more prayers to God" was the only way pakistan could thwart such strategies.

The conversation took a sharp turn when one panelist brought up India's victory in the 2011 World Cup, saying, "Even back then, they were seen practising on a 'kaali picth' before the Mohali semi-final."  Another said, "Before the game, seven pandits were despatched to inspect the stadium.  They performed their jaadu-tona in this manner.

This is trolled and also invites serious criticism as this directly mocks the beliefs of several Hindus. The rituals and prayers are labelled as 'Black Magic' openly on a television debate.
