After a 24-year-old Bengaluru man made up scary claims of sexual harassment, food delivery firm swiggy reportedly banned a delivery person. Following his complaint, swiggy took severe action, according to the individual who shared his experience on Reddit.
 
 The user claims that the issue happened when he used Swiggy's Genie service to give his roommate the keys.  The delivery worker allegedly said, "Can I suck your c*?" in an improper sexual manner while delivering the goods. ** The man was shocked and quite uneasy as a result.
Swiggy's Response
As swiggy allegedly attempted to shift blame by claiming that the delivery partner was from Rapido, with whom they have a partnership, the guy initially became frustrated when reporting the event.  Nevertheless, swiggy arranged for a different rider to finish the delivery after repeated complaints, and they later expressed regret for the incident.
 
The man insisted on tougher penalties for the delivery agent since he was determined to see something done.  He was reassured by Swiggy's customer service that the problem was being taken seriously.
 
Delivery Agent Blacklisted
Later, the guy gave an update, confirming that the delivery agent had been banned from both the swiggy and Rapido platforms.  Swiggy said that the original call operator who handled his complaint was being retrained to handle similar situations more effectively in the future.
 
 Additionally, swiggy reiterated its dedication to enhancing the way its customer service representatives handle delicate grievances, guaranteeing more stringent procedures and improved instruction in managing incidents involving harassment.
