Maha Shivaratri 2025: Puja Rituals and timings..!!

Siddhas says that on Shivaratri, the energy emanating from the center of the universe spreads to the earth. In this case, it is believed that by chanting and worshiping mantras of lord shiva on that day, the energy present in the universe will stimulate the power within us and increase immensely. Elders say that if you fast on the auspicious day of Shivaratri, perform puja, and stay awake all night chanting shiva mantras and worshipping, you will get all the benefits. Those who cannot stay awake all night on Shivaratri can stay awake until 12:30 am.
Four Kala Pujas that can be performed on Shivaratri:

1. The first kaala Puja should be performed from 6:00 pm to 9 pm. This is called the time when Brahma worships Shiva. This can achieve good results.

2. The second Kala Puja is from 9 pm to 12 am. It is believed that during this time, Lord vishnu worships lord shiva, and if we perform the puja, our wealth will increase.

3. The third Kala Puja is from 12 pm to 3 am. It is believed that in the third period, Ambal is worshipped as a form of power to Shiva. This is called the Lingotbhava period.

4. The fourth period of worship is from 3:00 am to 6:00 am. During this period, it is believed that all the thirty-three crore gods, sages, planets, and humans worship Lord Shiva.
