"India why do you use the word expired"
The influencer in the video chuckled at how indians use the word "expired."
"India, why do you use the word expired to say that someone died?" she said in jest. I'm not sure if this is true in india or only in india, but I've heard from indians that when someone passes away, they use the word "expired."
She laughs out loud and then describes an episode that made her realize this.
"The woman told my friends and me at the restaurant, 'Ya, the wife expired.'" I thought, "What?" As if the wife had passed away? The influencer talked about her personal experience.
"What?" she added, laughing. To indicate that someone has died, gone away, or something similar, you use the term expired. Alright. Food expires, prescriptions expire... But a human being? Please let me know whether it's just India. Does that apply to all of india or just the indians I know? Is the word "expired" used in other nations as well? I'm just curious. Tell me.

"Expired is also used in hospitals in medical terms to refer to death [sic]," explained another.
Yet another user said, "Stop laughing about it, your followers might get expired [sic]."
