Legendary cricketer and former indian captain ms dhoni has come forth to discuss the rest of his playing career.  During his app's launch ceremony, dhoni discussed his future in cricket and stated that he wanted to make the most of the "last few years" he has left in the game.

"I've been retired since 2019, so it will be quite some time," he said exactly.  What I've been doing in the interim is simply enjoying cricket for the final few years that I will be able to play, you know.  Dhoni also talked about his childhood cricketing experiences.  "I want to enjoy it, like I did when I was in school as a child," he said.  Since 4 o'clock was sports time in the colony where I lived, we would frequently go play cricket.

But we used to play football if the weather didn't allow.  It's easier said than done, but I want to play with the same level of innocence.  The chennai Super Kings paid dhoni Rs. 4 crores, or one-third of the 2024 total, to keep him on as a batsman and wicketkeeper.  Given that MSD intends to retire in a few years, it would be intriguing to observe how his departure will affect the chennai Super Kings, a team whose whole identity revolves around Dhoni.
