Fans are annoyed by several of the new features on the merged platform, and jio Hotstar is struggling greatly to maintain the previous heritage of Disney+Hotstar.  The constant alerts throughout the games are one of these characteristics.  Users were inundated with alerts of updates from ball to ball during the most recent cricket match between bangladesh and India.
 
Users believe that there should be a way to stop receiving alerts; otherwise, it is not only inconvenient but also impolite.  Even after rejecting the fhd alerts once, some have claimed that they continue to arrive.  On social media, subscribers have already voiced their displeasure with the ongoing advertising and other issues.
 
 It will be challenging to compete with OTT behemoths like Netflix once JioCinema and Disney+Hotstar combined their massive audience bases.  It appears like jio Hotstar's attempt to establish a monopoly in the sports streaming market is not succeeding.  To ensure that customers have a positive experience, jio Hotstar will need to enhance these services. The removal of obnoxious alerts that disgust consumers will be the first step in that direction. Let's hope jio Hotstar hears all these and they provide some amicable solutions at the earliest.
