NEEK (Nilavuku Enmel Ennadi Kobam), Dhanush's most recent film, is having trouble drawing audiences. The film's original release date was set for the first week of february, however Vidaamuyarchi caused the release to be rescheduled till february 21. Since pradeep Ranganathan's Dragon negatively impacted NEEK's company, this is turning out to be a bad decision.

Despite the fact that both performers are young, Dragon's comical style and Pradeep's outstanding performance have captured the audience's attention, and the movie is headed for Rs. 100 crores.  In contrast, NEEK's first weekend performance was subpar, with its global revenue falling short of Rs. 10 crores.

On weekdays, NEEK collapsed, and there are no indications that it is getting better.  The romance drama's poor box office performance is summed up by the fact that it made less than Rs. 1 crore on monday and Tuesday.  It's interesting to note that NEEK had good reviews, but one major factor contributing to the lackluster showing was Dhanush's hectic schedule, which prevented him from effectively promoting his movie.

The main cast of NEEK includes Anika Surendran, Pavish, priya Prakash Varrier, Matthew Thomas, venkatesh Menon, Rabiya Khatoon, and ramya Ranganathan.  This film was funded by Wunderbar Films, Dhanush's production company.  The music was composed by gv prakash Kumar.
