The disparity in responses to Animal was recently discussed by filmmaker sandeep Reddy Vanga, who pointed out that although actor ranbir kapoor was universally praised for his performance, Vanga was criticized for his directing. In a recent conversation, he noted that although Kapoor had been widely criticized for using the film to depict toxic masculinity, Kapoor had not received any criticism despite the film's harsh content. Vanga mentioned the discrepancy in a teaser for his Game Changers interview.

Vanga stated, "Everyone who gave Ranbir harsh criticism, including those who were interested in movies, thought he was excellent.  The idea is that "Ranbir was brilliant, but the writer-director was." I'm not envious of Ranbir.  The discrepancy is beyond my comprehension.

"I understood they want to work with Ranbir," the director went on.  That's obvious that, because I'm new here, it's simple to make a remark about me if they say anything to Ranbir.  An actor will make five appearances in a film that a director will make in two to three years.  Therefore, you won't mention the person you can work with more.  That is accurate.

Actor ranbir kapoor said in an interview with Deadline that he will play two parts in Animal Park, a surprise hinted at in the film's conclusion.  "He wishes to extend it beyond three sections.  Animal Park is the second section.  He wants to continue the plot, and we have been discussing concepts from the first movie itself.  I get to play both the adversary and the protagonist now, which is really thrilling," he remarked.
