Pradeep Ranganathan's Dragon, which was directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, and Dhanush's third film, Nilavuku Enmel Ennadi Kobam, collided in theaters.  Although viewers are responding very well to Dragon, Dhanush's NEEK is also getting favorable feedback. However, social media users claim that Dragon is the victor of the battle.

 Red Giant Pictures, one of the largest distribution companies in tamil Nadu, handled the distribution and release of Dhanush's NEEK.  As a result, on Day 1, NEEK has the greatest number of prime shows.  The majority of Tamilnadu's prime shows have switched to Dragon as of right now, despite the fact that NEEK is getting good reviews. Dragon is the audience's top pick for this weekend.
 
While NEEK (Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam) is only operating at 50% occupancy, Dragon is operating at 95% occupancy in the majority of theaters from evening and night performances, according to box office analysts.  In terms of opening receipts, Dragon now leads NEEK by a wide margin. We will have to wait and see whether this situation changes and determine which film will become a box office triumph in the days ahead. The OTT release might even bring out the true colours.
