Supreme court dismisses SJ Suryah's appeal in tax evasion case!?

SJ Suryah, who appeared in front of the camera in the film Nethiadi, has acted in the films Kizhaku Seemaiyile, Aasai, and Khushi. The film New introduced him as a hero. He acted in many films like Anbe Aaruyire, and Kalvanin Kadhali. But these films did not receive enough reception. After a long gap, he made an entry in the film Iraivi and is now making waves in all languages as one of the mass villains. In this situation, the Income Tax Department officials filed a case against him for not paying the income tax due. That too, SJ Suryah has evaded tax to the tune of nearly 8 crores. Following this, SJ Suryah filed an appeal in the supreme court against the case filed by the Income Tax Department officials. The hearing of this case was held yesterday.
In this, SJ Suryah did not file the appeal within the due time. He filed his appeal 467 days late. Therefore, the supreme court has dismissed this petition saying that it will not be taken up for hearing. He cannot file an appeal anymore. Therefore, it is said that SJ Suryah must pay the 7 crore 57 lakhs that he is said to have evaded tax.
