JioHotstar has once again found itself in a difficult situation due to criticism of its recently launched program, Engaged: Roka Ya Dhoka. The most recent social experiment available on JioHotstar is Engaged: Roka Ya Dhoka, which was released on february 14 and is presented by Harsh Gujral and Uorfi Javed.  According to reports, the show delves deeply into how Gen-Z relationships are changing.

The exhibition emphasizes the transition from casual dating to a desire for more meaningful, authentic interactions by utilizing information from over 2 lakh user experiences across more than five dating apps. According to Uorfi, the program is a mirror of contemporary relationships as much as a dating show.

Because of the show's nature, criticism about it has grown very popular.  One person said on X about how the show is quite obscene and deals with issues like situationships.  The user said that even the Ranveer Allhabadiya incident, the supreme Court's ruling and the government's strong stance against vulgarity have not made these social media celebrities fearful of the law.

He even asked the police to start taking tough measures against them right now.  Many people responded to the post by agreeing that these shows are using Gen Z and ruining them in order to profit.  JioHotstar has already been under fire for showing pornographic television teasers during cricket matches.  The platform runs the danger of losing some of its audience if it doesn't reply to these users.
