The criticism of A. R. Rahman's work on Chhaava has been ongoing, and, to be honest, unjustified. Both reviewers and audiences have voiced their displeasure, but let's not forget that rahman did not make the movie great. As evidence of its broad appeal, Chhaava is actually doing pretty well at the box office, taking in over $33 million. Rahman, a composer who won an Oscar, has never shied away from experimenting. In Chhaava, he did the same. He wrote a music that was intended to discreetly enhance rather than overpower the movie's plot.

His restrained manner was ideal for the subject, even though most people would have expected a more spectacular composition. Furthermore, rahman is going through personal difficulties at the moment of the criticism.  He is undoubtedly impacted by his recent divorce with saira banu and her health issue.  It is unjust and inconsiderate to criticize his efforts at such a trying time.

The outstanding performance by vicky kaushal and the combined efforts of the whole cast and crew are the sole reasons Chhaava, the historical drama about Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, is still going strong.  The picture gained emotional depth because to Rahman's soundtrack.  The Rahman-bashing has to stop.  He continues to inspire and innovate as a musical magician.  Instead, let's appreciate his artistic abilities and comprehend the problems he faces.
