The highly anticipated telugu debut of bobby deol  He was supposed to become a pan-Indian villain through Daaku Maharaaj, but the outcome hasn't been great.  After Daaku Maharaaj's OTT debut, his portrayal as Balwant Singh Thakur, which has garnered mixed reviews in theaters, is now subject to even harsher criticism on Netflix.  Audiences are dissatisfied by his expressionless portrayal, despite some hoping he would add drama to the character.

His depiction of the opponent is flat and devoid of any threat.  The entire thing is a blank look with no emotional depth or noteworthy moments.  What filmmakers even perceive in him is a matter of debate.  Viewers frequently respond that his role is unimportant and more of a screen filler than a strong antagonist.  Using the buzz around sandeep Reddy Vanga, bobby was able to get away with accomplishing virtually nothing in Animal as well.
 
Following the recent thrashing of the same villain act in Kanguva, Daaku Maharaaj now continues the run of unmemorable performances.  The character's and his acting's lack of originality is the biggest disappointment.  Instead of creating a more threatening character, director bobby Kolli gives us a stereotypical, predictable antagonist.  Even when bobby deol appears on screen, Daaku Maharaaj on OTT doesn't really benefit from his presence.
