Hollywood star Blake Lively lamented the passing of Michelle Trachtenberg, her co-star from Gossip girl, who passed away on wednesday (IST) at the age of 39.  "The world lost a deeply sensitive and good person," Blake said with a photo of herself with Michelle from the Gossip girl adolescent drama in the United States.

Sharing what kind of energy Michelle brought to the set, Blake wrote, "This is the first day I met Michelle. She was electricity. You knew when she entered a room because the vibration changed. Everything she did, she did 200%. She laughed the fullest at someone's joke, she faced authority head-on when she felt something was wrong, she cared deeply about her work, she was proud to be a part of this community and industry as painful as it could be sometimes, she was fiercely loyal to her friends and brave for those she loved, she was big and bold and distinctly herself."

According to Blake, Michelle was meticulous about the little things.  She went on to say, "And she always wore delicious lip gloss with a caramel scent because she didn't only want to shine on camera; she enjoyed making everyone around her feel good, right down to the delicate scent of her lip gloss since she was picky about the little things.  Through and through, she was a good person.

Blake reflected on how individuals tend to take longstanding friends for granted after Michelle's unexpected death.  Finally, she said, "Time goes by.  The opportunity to visit an old buddy is something you take for granted.  In other words, the true tragedies in life are the ones that catch you off guard on a tuesday when you're not looking.  Treasure the people you love and have loved.  Michelle was a nice, sensitive person who was lost to the world.  Those who were fortunate enough to witness her fire may remember her efforts and her enormous heart.
