Ashwini Vaishnaw Prayagraj Visit
Railway minister ashwini Vaishnaw reached Prayagraj today a few hours after the conclusion of maha Kumbh. He inspected several railway stations including Prayagraj Junction. He saw the arrangements made by the department. He also saw the work done by different units of the Railways. He also inspected the control room.
The Railway minister met the officials and employees and patted them on the back for their excellent work, praised them, and also felicitated them. He also hugged some employees. On this occasion, ashwini Vaishnav said that the Railways had a big challenge in organizing the maha Kumbh successfully. Railways operated more than 16000 trains from major railway stations of Prayagraj. He said that prime minister Narendra Modi and home minister amit shah also used to talk to him continuously and keep taking information and updates about the arrangements made by the Railways in the maha Kumbh.
Preparations had started years ago
According to him, the railways had started its preparations for organizing the maha Kumbh years ago. Due to better homework, passengers were safely disembarked and sent back to the railway stations of Prayagraj. No small incident was allowed to happen anywhere. He also praised the coordination done by the CMs of UP-Bihar and Madhya Pradesh.
The Railway minister said that during the maha Kumbh, no engine failed anywhere. There was no problem with any coach or track. There was no failure anywhere. He also thanked the media and said that it was because of the media that the maha Kumbh got wide publicity in the whole world with the message of grandeur, unity, and social harmony. He said that the next Kumbh will be organized in Prayagraj after 6 years. The railways will make plans for it from now itself and will make preparations on a large scale.
More than 4.5 crore devotees traveled by train
He said that the hard work done by the railway officials and employees day and night is unmatched. He said that during the period of maha Kumbh, more than four and a half crore devotees traveled in trains. On this occasion, Railway minister ashwini Vaishnav also met the passengers present in the maha Kumbh Special train going from Prayagraj Junction to jhansi and talked to them.
