In Kanpur's Bekanganj Market, a lady approached a guy who she said was harassing her, setting off a spectacular incident. According to reports, a heated confrontation broke out after the accused, Adnan, from the Bajaria police station area, made an unlawful effort to touch the victim.
 
The man begged for forgiveness as the woman, wearing a burqa, grabbed him by the collar and slapped him 14 times in 48 seconds, according to a widely shared video.  The woman was backed by onlookers who denounced the accused's actions.  According to locals, the man had been routinely harassing women at the market.  Adnan was arrested by kanpur police after they verified the february 25 event.
