According to a recent lawsuit, a South Carolina pastor whose wife committed herself after divorcing him is accused of raping a 15-year-old girl for over thirty years. Using his church as a "sexual playground," Pastor john Paul Miller, 44, reportedly sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl in 1998 when he was 19 years old, according to the complaint, which was published by The Mirror.

In the Horry County Circuit court case, the plaintiff claimed that the attack happened during sunday school at All Nations Church in fort Mill, which was then run by Miller's father.

He reportedly forced the girl to go outside to his truck after bringing her into his father's office, where he sexually abused and improperly touched her.

The lawsuit also claimed that Miller tried to use a bible phrase to defend his acts by telling the victim, who was then a juvenile, "No man is without sin and temptation."  God is aware of that.

According to the story, the plaintiff also claimed that years later, in 2023, she was raped once more by Miller, the infamous pastor of Solid Rock Church in Myrtle Beach, after she bumped into him while visiting the city.

After leaning in to embrace her, the pastor abruptly shoved "his hand down her pants touching her genitals without consent," according to the lawsuit.

He and other officials were accused of concealing a pattern of alleged abuse over the years in the lawsuit, which also listed Solid Rock Church and All Nations Church as defendants.  "This church was JPM's sexual playground," the lawsuit said.

After learning of Miller's wife's passing last year, the plaintiff expressed profound regret, feeling that coming up sooner may have stopped more injury.  "She had heard that there were multiple other victims over the years," Randall Hood, her attorney, told WBTV.

Since his wife Mica Miller, 30, was discovered dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in april of last year in Lumbee River State Park in North Carolina, Miller has been the subject of intense scrutiny.  Days after delivering him with divorce papers, she committed suicide, according to the police.

However, the pastor has refuted any claims of abuse and grooming.  He had previously claimed that his wife had a history of mental illness, had attempted suicide on several occasions, and had been admitted to the hospital.
