What is a Virtual Aadhaar ID?
A 16-digit unique number known as a Virtual ID (VID) can be created via the Unique Identification Authority of India's (UIDAI) website. Among many other crucial duties, this ID may be used for e-KYC, bank account opening, government service applications, insurance policy purchases, passport applications, and many more.

You can generate a virtual ID online from the uidai website:

First of all, go to [UIDAI's official website] (https://uidai.gov.in/).
Here choose the language as per your convenience from hindi or English.
Now click on the Virtual ID (VID) Generator option in the Aadhaar services section.
Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number and captcha code.
Now OTP will come on the registered mobile number, enter it.
After this, your virtual ID will appear on the screen and it will also be sent to your mobile number via SMS.

SMS is also an option

If you do not have an internet facility, then you can also generate a virtual ID through SMS. Type a message from your registered mobile number:
RVID
Send this message to 1947.
Within a few seconds, you will receive your Virtual ID via SMS.
