Pakistan gets a huge prize money despite the defeat..!?

The pakistan team, which has not won a single match in the 2025 Champions Trophy series, has received a huge prize money. At the end of this series, the pakistan team is going to receive crores of rupees as a prize. Despite being the champion team of the 2017 Champions Trophy series and the host team, the pakistan team has exited this time in the group stage. In the group stage, the pakistan team played against three teams, India, new zealand, and Bangladesh. In this, pakistan lost against new zealand and the indian teams. The match against the bangladesh team was abandoned due to rain. Therefore, pakistan got only one point. So, in total, the team did not win a single match in the Champions Trophy series.
In this situation, the pakistan team has received a prize of Rs 2.31 crore. How is this possible? Why such huge prize money for a team that has not won a single match? Some may question. But, the prize money has been confirmed in advance for each team participating in the Champions Trophy series. The agreement for this has also been made in advance. The participation fee of Rs 1.09 crore is to be given to all eight teams participating in this series. Accordingly, the participation fee is to be given to the pakistan and bangladesh teams that have not won a single match in the Group A section of this series. In addition, the teams that take the seventh and eighth places in the series by adding the points table of the two group sections together will be given Rs 1.22 crore in indian currency. Even if the pakistan and bangladesh teams take the seventh and eighth places, those teams will get that prize money.

So, in total, pakistan and bangladesh will receive minimum prize money of Rs 2.31 crore. It is noteworthy that a total prize money of Rs 60.25 crore is to be given in the 2025 Champions Trophy series. This time, the winning team in the Champions Trophy series will be given a maximum prize money of Rs 19.56 crore. The second-placed team will be given Rs 9.78 crore. The two teams that lost in the semi-finals will be given Rs 4.89 crore. In addition to this, all those teams will also get a participation fee of Rs 1.09 crore. However, it is noteworthy that some players in the IPL series have received more salaries than the prize money given to the winning team.
