The first hindi movie to earn 100 crores at the box office in 2025 was Sky Force, starring Akshay Kumar.  A number of trade experts revealed the movie's corporate booking fraud throughout its theatrical run, criticizing the producers for displaying higher receipts and ticket sales.  Many also mentioned how the movie's real box office receipts are far lower and that the producers intentionally sold more tickets to boost the buzz.

The movie made over 100 crore at the box office in spite of all the accusations, but it still aims to make money from its OTT distribution.  It appears, nevertheless, that no OTT platform is prepared to be linked to the movie.  According to many reports, the movie is now having issues before its wallet PLATFORM' target='_blank' title='digital-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>digital distribution and is being shelved by all of the main OTT platforms.

Following the uproar surrounding the movie involving corporate bookings and fictitious numbers, these problems are becoming more prevalent.  As of right now, none of the over-the-top (OTT) platforms want to be associated with a movie that might not accept refunds once it is released, which might put Akshay Kumar's Sky Force in a difficult situation.
