Balakrishna's imposing presence and Thaman's background score have been well praised in all languages ever since Daaku Maharaaj made its Netflix premiere.  Balakrishna appears in the movie in two different appearances: his normal, well-groomed avatar functions fine, while his Daaku metamorphosis doesn't have the impact one would anticipate from a title character.

His acting, however, is coming naturally to OTT viewers, with one poignant moment sticking out as a standout.  While the first half's stunning action scenes and mystery are appealing to viewers, the second half falls flat due to bobby Deol's lackluster character growth and a generic villain track.

Bobby has a recurring and unremarkable role despite his on-screen persona.  A decline in involvement is also evident in the fact that many internet viewers are ignoring parts of the second half.  Technically speaking, Thaman's BGM improves the experience, while Vijay Kartik Kannan's photography is a significant asset, enhancing the film's visuals.

Daaku Maharaaj is a good one-time viewing for OTT viewers because of Balakrishna's on-screen persona and a few well-done action scenes, but it's difficult to overlook the absence of an engaging plot.  The biggest surprise is that, even though it's a balakrishna movie, there aren't many situations that make for good troll material.  Balakrishna and his filmmakers are ensuring that no moments in ruler are teased or ridiculed by the harsh social media audience.
