Suriya, the sensational tamil actor, is getting ready for the big premiere of his upcoming film, Retro. karthik Subbaraj is the director of the movie. The telugu and tamil versions of the film are getting ready for their May 1st premiere. It's interesting to note that sithara Entertainments purchased the telugu states' rights to the movie. Suriya's pre-debut telugu gift is being planned by Suryadevara naga Vamsi.
 
 Kanguva, Suriya's most recent movie, was a huge failure and damaged his reputation in Telugu.  Numerous reviewers have brought attention to Suriya's writing judgment.  He is in dire need of a hit and is hoping that Retro will be the movie that restores his fame.  Suriya already has plans to launch in telugu under the sithara label.

We may thus assume that the sithara label intends to release Retro in a large way in order to give the actor a significant amount of success before he made a huge entrance into Telugu.  Sithara has already lavishly disseminated Vijay's Leo in Telugu.  Sithara Entertainments demonstrated their effectiveness as distributors with Devara.
 
 Planning Suriya's telugu debut would be made easier if sithara could tap into Suriya's large telugu fan base with a strong release of Retro.  Suriya's telugu movie would do well if Retro becomes a success.  The film is being directed by venky Atluri, and production will start in a few months.
