The Uttar Pradesh Public service Commission (UPPSC) has announced the results of the Provincial Civil services (PCS) Prelims Exam 2024. A total of 15,066 candidates have been selected for the main examination. The results are available on the official UPPSC website, uppsc.up.nic.in, in PDF format, requiring no login credentials.

As per the official notice, the UPPSC PCS 2024 exam has 947 vacancies. Candidates who appeared for the prelims can check their results online by following these steps:

Navigate to the ‘Information Bulletin’ section on the right-hand side

The result PDF will appear on the screen
Search for the respective roll number

The preliminary examination was conducted on 22 december 2024 in two sessions. A total of 576,154 candidates had applied online for the exam, out of which 243,111 candidates appeared in the first session and 241,359 candidates appeared in the second session.
The Commission clarified that certain posts have specific educational qualification requirements, resulting in some roll numbers appearing multiple times in the result PDF. The number of candidates shortlisted for the Mains is thirteen times the total vacancies. Additionally, there is no scaling in the prelims exam, ensuring a level playing field for all aspirants.
