PM Modi in Sufi music program said different fragrance!
Prime minister Narendra Modi on friday (28 february 2025) participated in the grand Sufi music festival Jahan-e-Khusro 2025 at Sundar Nursery in Delhi. During this, PM Modi said that there is a different fragrance in this event of Jahan-e-Khusro, this fragrance is of the soil of Hindustan. He said, "That Hindustan, which Hazrat Amir Khusro compared to heaven. Our Hindustan is that garden of heaven, where every color of civilization has flourished. There is something special in the nature of the soil here. Perhaps that is why when the Sufi tradition came to Hindustan, it also felt as if it had connected with its own land." PM wishes Ramadan Mubarak
PM Modi said, "The holy month of Ramadan is about to begin, I wish all of you and all the countrymen a happy Ramadan. Such occasions are important for the country's art and culture, and they also provide solace. This series of Jahan-e-Khusro is completing its 25 years. In these 25 years, making a place for this event in the minds of the people is a big achievement in itself."
'Sufi tradition created a different identity'
Prime minister Narendra Modi said, "Sufi tradition created a different identity in India. Sufi saints have not limited themselves to mosques and khanqahs. They read the letters of the Holy Quran and also listened to the words of the Vedas, they added the sweetness of devotional songs to the sound of Azan. The civilization of any country, its culture gets its voice from its songs and music. It is expressed through art."
'Sanskrit is the best language in the world'
PM Modi said, "Hazrat Khusro described india as greater than all the big countries of the world at that time. He described sanskrit as the best language in the world. He considered the sages of india to be greater than even the great scholars. The spring that Hazrat Amir Khusro was crazy about is not only present in the weather of delhi but is also present in the air of Jahan-e-Khusro... Before coming to the gathering here, I got a chance to visit Teh Bazaar."
