A fifteen-year-old lesotho girl was receiving treatment for an unusual condition. Despite having no natural vaginal canal, she was apparently pregnant. The british Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology described the strangeness as an example of the intricacies and wonders of human biology.

In 1988, she was sent to the hospital due to excruciating stomach discomfort that resembled childbirth symptoms.  Doctors examined her and found that she was pregnant and in labor.  However, what if a female didn't have a vaginal canal that may aid in her conception?

Vaginal atresia: Rare disease
She had been diagnosed with vaginal atresia, a very uncommon congenital condition that occurs when the vagina does not have a natural opening.  This birth abnormality affects 1 in 4,000 to 10,000 babies, making natural conception impossible without medical intervention, often IVF.  However, the girl had not received even that kind of therapy.

Therefore, there was no chance of a vaginal canal enabling a cesarean birth, and the process proceeded smoothly.  The infant was healthy and weighed 6.2 pounds.  However, it's still unclear how the girl became pregnant.

Unraveling the mystery
The girl claimed that although she had considered physical changes, she had never considered becoming pregnant due to her health issues and lack of typical sexual activity.  The investigation's conclusion appeared to be really intriguing.  An attacker had stabbed her in the abdomen months earlier.  She did, however, engage in oral sex with her new partner prior to that.

Because of the terrible hole that was created in her stomach during that effort, doctors believed that sperm may really access her reproductive organs.  In the face of the child's towering similarity to the father, supporting evidence disregarded any incredible, magically achieved mating.  However, the girl's malnutrition reduced stomach acidity, which gave the sperm more time to damage the egg.
