Continuous snowfall in Himachal..!? National Highways closed..!?

Due to heavy snowfall, 5 major national highways in himachal pradesh have been temporarily closed. The weather in himachal pradesh has changed to an unprecedented extent. Due to heavy snowfall and rain, the normal life of the people there has been completely paralyzed. In response to the snowfall, 5 major national highways have been closed for security reasons. Schools and colleges have been temporarily closed in various areas. The State Disaster Management Committee has warned of the possibility of heavy rain and snowfall in the districts of Samba, Kangra, Kullu, and Mandi. Landslides have also occurred in many parts of Kullu district.
Himachal Pradesh is witnessing heavy snowfall and rain. The adverse climate triggered landslides and blocked key roads and national highways on Friday. As per the State Disaster Management Authority, 583 roads, including 5 National Highways are closed, 2263 DTRs distribution transformers impacting the power supply are interrupted and 279 water supply schemes are hampered in the state. Schools and colleges are closed in several areas. State chief minister Sukhwinder Singh Sugu has advised all the public to stay safe inside their homes. He further said that he is closely monitoring the current situation. He requests all parties to be alert. Everyone should follow the instructions issued by the administration. He requests all to stay away from rivers and valleys.
