Directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, pradeep Ranganathan's Dragon debuted in theaters on february 21st. The film has been well-received by viewers and is performing remarkably well at the box office.  After seeing the film Dragon, many people praised pradeep Ranganathan's acting performance, while others said that he was simply mimicking Dhanush's acting technique.  

Critics argue that despite pradeep Ranganathan's resemblance to Dhanush's acting technique, he has a tremendous talent and should not allow this discussion to take up any space. Instead, he should discover his own style that would make him famous. Another criticism of pradeep Ranganathan is that his two films, Dragon and love Today, were both young comedies, and his next projects were in a similar genre. As a result, online users suggested that the actor try different genres for his next projects.  

However, the box office receipts for pradeep Ranganathan's Dragon are exploding.  Numerous theaters in tamil Nadu were reported to be packed for evening and night performances on Monday, indicating that Dragon is on track to become another 100 crore grosser for pradeep Ranganathan following its successful opening weekend. The actor has 'LIK' with vignesh shivan and Krithi Shetty under his pipeline.
