At the box office, Chhaava is performing incredibly well and has already made over 400 crores.  Chhaava, which is produced by Maddock Films, is likely to rank among the year's highest-grossing movies.  The same production company created the highest-grossing hindi movie of 2024, stree 2, which came out last year.  Two characteristics of both popular movies are that they are both produced by the same company and neither has a star in the lead role.

Movies with the biggest stars in the nation have had a hard time at the box office in recent years.  None of them, not even ram Charan's Game Changer, Hrithik Roshan's Fighter, Akshay Kumar's back-to-back movies, or salman Khan's Eid releases, have been able to rank among the highest grossing movies.  However, even if they don't have the greatest actors, movies like 12th Fail, Chhaava, and stree 2 have captured the hearts and affections of viewers.  This begs the crucial question: is the superstar period coming to an end?

It appears like celebrities have been taking their fan base for granted lately, depending on their attractive on-screen personas to attract viewers.  However, spectators have not been impressed by their films since they frequently lack content.  Production companies like Maddock Films, however, have adopted a different strategy.  They stress the quality of their films and concentrate on lesser-known actors rather than allocating the majority of their resources to casting famous stars.

A film's ability to stand out and connect with viewers is mostly dependent on its screenplay and substance.  Stars by themselves used to be enough to draw audiences to theaters, but these days, the substance is far more important.  This formula has been figured out by producers such as Maddock Films.  Bollywood may have an opportunity to produce far better movies in the future if other people notice this change.
