It's time for satellite tv providers to advance as the OTT streaming phenomenon is capturing a significant portion of the indian market. Since there are now no buyers for the picture, it is difficult for filmmakers to get satellite rights, demonstrating how hopeless the situation is. Given that consumers choose Netflix and Prime Video above all other DTH providers, there may only be one way to get through this difficult time.

The only way to prevent OTT from overtaking satellite services is to maintain DTH subscriptions free in order to draw in more customers. Satellite providers are becoming aware of the impact this is having on their market as a whole.  The satellite market is having difficulties, as seen by the efforts of firms like Tata Play and Airtel's Dish tv to combine in order to provide a better DTH service.

It remains to be seen whether the dominance of OTT giants like Netflix, Prime Video, and others will cease to fuel a sluggish satellite service industry. The wide range of language dubbing possibilities offered by OTT platforms is one of the primary factors contributing to their growing popularity.  Movies and television programs are accessible in a number of languages, particularly the regional languages of India.  Since india is a multilingual nation, dubbing content into all of its languages is a difficult undertaking.  Both time and effort are needed.
