The plot of Pathaan 2 just became more fascinating!  Pathaan has solidified YRF's spy universe and broken records.  It will now be elevated to a new level in the sequel.  The twist is that siddharth anand won't be coming back.  This time, who will make the decisions? After the Second World war, would it be ayan mukerji or aditya chopra himself?  

Since the middle of 2023, aditya chopra has been working on Pathaan 2.  Not only is it a follow-up, but it also revolutionizes the spy universe.  He has created a high-stakes thriller with abbas Tyrewala and sridhar Raghavan that deepens the plot and establishes significant tensions for next movies.

Expectations are quite high since Shah Rukh Khan has reportedly given it his blessing.  The most important question is still who will direct now that the script is locked.  According to rumors, aditya chopra may resign as director in order to have complete control over his vision.  However, after Befikre (2016), has he directed a motion picture?  Is he prepared for a major action show like this?  

Ayan Mukerji comes next.  Insiders have praised his work on war 2, which makes him a serious candidate.  Can he, however, manage Pathaan 2's scope and intensity?  Or will YRF's new director come as a surprise? Globally, Pathaan has earned ₹1050 crore.  Since then, the Spy Universe has gained additional weight thanks to tiger 3, and war 2 will continue to do so.  

Reaching ₹1500 crore is not only feasible but also anticipated if Pathaan 2 exceeds expectations in terms of action and plot.  The movie will begin production in early 2026, with shooting beginning later this year.  Regardless of its director, it is evident that YRF is placing a significant wager on Pathaan 2.  This might be the most explosive chapter in the Spy Universe to far, as Shah Rukh Khan is back as the spy.  Are the biggest blockbusters in bollywood on the horizon?
