No Oscars for India..!! Which films won the most awards?

The only live-action short film from india to compete at the Oscars, Anuja, has missed out on the chance to win an award. The Delhi-made short film 'Anuja', produced by priyanka chopra and Guneed Monga, lost the Best Live Action Short Film award at the Oscars 2025 to the Dutch-language film 'I'm Not a Robot'. Directed by Adam J. Graves, 'Anuja' is about a nine-year-old girl named Anuja. priyanka chopra, one of the producers of the film, had earlier said about the film in an interview, “This beautiful film sheds light on an issue that affects millions of children around the world. Anuja is a poignant, thought-provoking work. It makes us reflect deeply on the power of the decisions we make and how they shape the course of our lives. I am very proud to have made such a wonderful work.”
This year, Anora won the most awards at the Oscars. The film won a total of 5 awards. Anora won in five categories: Best Picture, Best director (Sean Baker), Best Actress (Mike Madison), Best Screenplay, and Best Film Editing. Next, The Brutalist won three Won Oscars. Adrien Brody won the Best Actor award and the Best Original Score award. Daniel Blumberg, who composed the music for the film, and Lal Krale, who shot the film, won the Best Cinematography award. Three films have won 2 Oscars. Accordingly, Wicked won the Best Costume Design (Paul Taswell) and Best Production Design awards. Similarly, Dune 2 won the Oscars in the Best Sound Design and Best VFX categories. Emilia Perez also won the Best Supporting Actress (Zoe Saldana) and Best Original Song awards.
