MK stalin, the chief minister of tamil Nadu, stressed that the state's effective family planning policies had now placed them at a disadvantage and advised citizens to have a family right away. He urged citizens to pay attention to his warning that tamil Nadu's political representation may be impacted by population-based delimitation.

He said, "In the past, we used to say, take your time and have a baby," in reference to the shifting demographic situation.  However, things have changed, therefore we should speak up today.

He connected his worries to the potential use of population census data to implement delimitation.  He said, "We successfully implemented family planning, and now we are facing such a situation."

Stalin reaffirmed his position by emphasizing the possible effects on the state, saying, "So I won't say take your time, but immediately have your baby."

Stalin has scheduled an all-party meeting for march 5 to address the delimitation problem.  The chief minister urged everyone to gather and think about tamil Nadu's future, stating that it was at a turning point and that protests were necessary to defend its rights.

He remarked, "I urge them to attend the meeting," referring to the opposition parties.  Please put your ego aside.  Stalin emphasized that this was an urgent matter for tamil Nadu and advised, "Don't consider why you should listen to my call."

In order to discuss the ramifications of seat delimitation, which stalin had referred to as a "sword dangling over tamil Nadu," 40 political parties registered with the election commission were called to the conference.

Stalin emphasized that tamil Nadu's effective family planning programs had now put the state at a disadvantage in remarks made during a cabinet meeting on february 25.  Tamil Nadu would lose eight Members of parliament if the delimitation is based on the population census.  Tamil Nadu would lose representation in parliament as a result of this," he had said.
