The US army carried out a major airstrike in syria on saturday (March 1). A senior terrorist associated with the terrorist organization al qaeda was killed in this attack. The US Central Command announced that the leader of the terrorist organization has been killed in a precise airstrike carried out by the US Army.

The US Central Command of America has given this information by posting on the social media platform X. The command wrote, "The army of the US Central Command (CENTCOM) has carried out a precise airstrike in north-west Syria. In this airstrike, Muhammad Yusuf Zia Talay, a senior terrorist leader of the terrorist organization Hurras al-Din (HaD) associated with al qaeda, was killed by precise targeting." He further said, "This airstrike is part of Centcom's commitment to work with all partners in the region to destroy and end the plans and attempts of terrorist attacks against civilians and military personnel of the US, our allies and our partners from across the region."
Apart from this, the US Central Command also released a video footage during this airstrike. In this video, a car is seen passing through a desert area, in which the driver's seat has been attacked with precision. Due to this, the car stops after some time and the marks of the attack appear on it.
US Central Command commander gave a statement
Regarding this attack in syria, US Central Command commander General Michael Eric Kurilla said, "We will always continue such attacks on terrorists in this region to protect our motherland, America, our allies and partner personnel."
It is worth mentioning that the US Central Command is in charge of all the military operations of the country in the Middle East. Similarly, on february 21, the US military announced the killing of Wasim Tahseen Bayrakdar, a senior leadership facilitator of Hurras al-Din, in a precision airstrike in northwestern Syria.
