For several days, roughly 150 Hindu families in Sharma Toli, Shadipur Bhutha village, Baisi block, Purnia, have been dealing with a lot of difficulties. According to the locals, the Muslim side has blocked the route to their residences. These folks find it difficult to even get to their homes because of the Muslim colonies and private land around the village.

These families' boys and girls have been finding it difficult to even get married because of the dire circumstances.  Even transporting ill persons to the hospital has become challenging.  According to the villagers, they used to travel by private road in the past, but a 100-meter road has been closed because of a tiny parcel of 12 dismil property.

In order to resolve the issue, the locals stated that they had paid the landowner one lakh rupees for the road.  Nevertheless, the road access was not given and the money was ultimately returned due to pressure from the Muslim community.  These folks are now totally encircled because the route is blocked on all sides.

The locals also said that they are unable to play loudspeakers or do puja because of the Muslim side.  They claim that this limits their freedom of religion as well.  Local Hindus first filed an appeal with the SDM court because they were fed up with this issue.  The ruling was in their favor there as well, but the Muslim side prevailed when the civil court eventually reversed it.

Local resident santosh kumar told, "SDM Madam and CO Sahab's inquiry recognized the need for a road.  The civil court reversed the SDM's ruling, which had been in favor of the impacted families.

According to santosh kumar, the Muslim side has taken a combative posture.  The landowners had previously consented and agreed to receive payment in return for the land.  In response to criticism from other Muslims, they even returned the Rs 1 million they had taken, but they remain steadfast in their refusal to allow access to the route.  According to santosh kumar, the Muslims in the area are becoming haughty.  Even at the police station, they are not being heard.

These families have now turned to district Magistrate Kundan Kumar for assistance.

Baisi SDM  According to Kumari Tausi, the legislation expressly states that no one is allowed to obstruct an access route if there are more than 100 families residing there.  The issue remains unresolved despite the presence of over 150 families.  He claimed that despite numerous letters to the zonal officer and the police station, nothing was done about the situation.

The SDM's order is also in OpIndia's possession.  wherein the road was given an order.  But at the civil court, the Muslim side contested the SDM's order, and the civil court dismissed it.
