Following sun Pictures' official release this morning, pooja Hegde's item dance number in Rajinikanth's highly awaited Coolie, which was helmed by lokesh kanagaraj, is the talk of kollywood town.  Many social media users began criticizing lokesh kanagaraj after the announcement, claiming that the filmmaker had outlived his best years and would now only produce substandard item dance routines for his films.

Additionally, he never used cheap tricks like item songs or glam doll heroines in his films, so it's unclear why he's doing this in Coolie.  Although some of them were criticizing Rajinikanth and sun Pictures for this, lokesh has never used an item number or subpar components in his films, even though he has directed well-known actors like Vijay and Kamal Haasan.  However, lokesh may have been under pressure from Rajinikanth and sun Pictures to add an item number in Coolie.

Tamannaah's item dance number Kaavaalaa was one of the main highlights of the film's buzz, and Jailer went on to become a huge success.  However, given Jailer's enormous success, the kollywood crowd claims that lokesh kanagaraj made the worst choice by forcing an item number into a thriller film.  We will have to wait and see after Coolie comes out to find out if pooja Hegde's item number enhances the movie or if it is only a passable addition.
