The eagerly anticipated movie Kannappa is scheduled for release on april 25, 2025.  Marketing for the movie, which stars akshay kumar, prabhas, vishnu Manchu, Nayanthara, and mohan babu, has begun as the release date draws closer.  In Kannappa, akshay kumar makes his telugu film debut and plays Lord shiva for the second time following OMG 2.  Media representatives questioned him about his continuous controversies since the release of his song Mahakal chalo during the teaser release.
 
As he has frequently revealed, Akshay is a devoted follower of Shiva.  He was shown hugging the Shivling in the music video for Mahakal chalo, which many internet users felt was insulting.  He explained that he feels a great deal of affection for shiva and Parvati, who he has been taught are our parents.  For him, this was merely an act of devotion; those with the incorrect perspective are the ones who have made it seem filthy.  The devotional and traditional plot of Kannappa is compelling.  Mohan Babu is the producer, and mukesh Kumar Singh is the director.
 
In the more than one-minute-long teaser, vishnu Manchu plays the valiant warrior Thinnadu.  He starts to doubt his faith as he loses his warriors and deals with the brutal realities of battle.  The premise of the movie centers on his development into a devout devotee of Lord Shiva.
 
 Additionally, kajal aggarwal plays Goddess Parvati and akshay kumar plays Lord shiva in the teaser.  In the final moments of the teaser, prabhas makes an appearance as Rudra, while mohanlal captures attention as Kirata.  The teaser has compelling speech, a fast-paced action sequence, and an exciting background score.
