Tirupati Annaprasad now has Masal Vadas..!?

The tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) have decided to make some changes to the Annaprasad menu served in Tirupati. Steps are being taken to add new dishes to the Annaprasad menu and to regularize VIP darshan. The tirupati Devasthanams have decided to introduce new Masal Vadas for the devotees of Lord venkateswara swamy at the Vengamamba Annaprasad distribution hall in Tirumala. The ttd has already provided the Masal Vadas, prepared without using onions, to 5000 devotees. Due to the good response from the devotees, it has been decided to implement it fully from the 6th of this month. Also, the ttd is planning to introduce new Tetra packets instead of glass bottles for the distribution of drinking water in Tirumala. This scheme will be implemented soon.

It is well known that Annaprasadam is provided to devotees who come to have darshan of Swami. This includes a menu like rasam, buttermilk, sambar. Apart from this, if it is a dinner meal, chapati, karkandu rice etc. will be provided. In this situation, tirupati Devasthanam has recently decided to add Masalvada to the menu. There is a special darshan called "Break Darshan" in tirumala Tirupati. This is given to important people like VIPs, political leaders, and donors. The general public can have darshan of Swami quickly through this darshan without waiting in long queues.

Recently, the andhra pradesh government approved the provision of break darshan based on the recommendation letters given by political leaders in Telangana. Following this, the number of people seeking this darshan started increasing. Due to the fact that many political leaders and celebrities in andhra pradesh were seeking break darshan, it has become necessary to provide 7,000 to 7,500 darshans per day. Due to the increase in the number, the public is waiting in long queues and taking more time to have darshan. Due to this, ttd officials are complaining that they do not know how to deal with so many recommendation letters? Who should be given priority?

In addition, devotees from many towns continue to visit the tirupati temple every day. Due to this, tirupati is always crowded on most days. Devotees who come with recommendation letters in telangana are also expressing their anger over the non-priority of their letters. Therefore, important decisions regarding ttd and Break Darshan are likely to be taken at the board meeting to be held on the 8th of this month.
