Everyone is now familiar with the name Maddock Films.  The production company's prominence is mostly due to its horror-comedy universe, which has drawn sizable audiences to theaters.  Even though Maddock has a long list of projects in the works, including eight new features in the horror-comedy world, some of their flicks have yet to be released, even though they were announced so long ago.

Pooja Meri Jaan, starring Mrunal Thakur and Huma Qureshi, is the first.  Notably, the project's filming was finished in 2022, and while Maddock stated that it will be available on OTT immediately, no official release date has been disclosed. Then there is Sarvagunn Sampanna, a woman-focused movie that was announced about two years ago and starred Vaani Kapoor.

Although Vaani had previously stated that the movie would be available on an over-the-top platform, there have been no updates as of yet.  In addition, Dinesh Vijan and john abraham worked together on the movie Tehran, which will only be available in theaters.  The movie has not yet been given a release date, and the announcement was made back in 2022.

The same is true of Shiddat 2, the 2021 follow-up to Shiddat starring Sunny Kaushal and radhika Madan.  Sunny and wamiqa gabbi would also appear in the sequel, which would be directed by karan Sharma and include a screenplay by sara Bodinar.  The majority of these films appear to be failures, even though the release dates have not yet been finalized.  Nobody wants to view the cast faces on the big screen or even on OTT, according to the producers.  Even though many people consider john abraham to be a major celebrity, they should be aware that he has lost his fame and that his solo films are no longer successful.

The wisest course of action for Dinesh Vijan, who is currently experiencing great success with stree 2 and Chhaava, would be to not release these movies at all if he does not want to lose money.  Maddock Films may lose its market share if these movies continue to be delayed.  The future of their other projects is dubious, despite the success of the horror-comedy world.  Movies with little buzz and out-of-date relevance can make even OTT platforms hesitant to release them.

Maddock Films' brand value may suffer if their box office failures become a trend.  Today's audiences demand innovative ideas and effective advertising.  These movies could ruin Maddock's otherwise excellent run if they don't live up to expectations.  Whether these next releases can disprove detractors or if they will become obscure and unimportant is still up in the air.
