Kannappa, directed by vishnu Manchu, has been making headlines because of the excitement it has generated about its plot and images.  After much anticipation, the teaser has finally been released, and as promised, it features a number of well-known actors and some incredible action scenes.  However, the one specific item that viewers were anticipating was Akshay Kumar, who had long since been revealed to make an appearance as Lord Shiva.  In the teaser, Akshay was shown seated next to Parvati's actor Kajal Aggarwal.

Fans are displeased with the initial look, though, and there are a number of reasons why.  It's not that everyone dislikes Akshay's cameo appearance.  Since it falls short of expectations, Akshay's appearance is the one that hasn't gotten a favorable reaction.  About two years ago, Akshay played a similar role in OMG 2.  However, amit Rai, the director, made sure to maintain authenticity.  Regarding Kannappa, it appears that Akshay did not play the part alone; rather, it appears that his face was inserted into someone else's.

However, since Shiva's character does not have a snake in his neck, there is a chance that the appearance could cause some controversy.  So far, Akshay's appearance hasn't caused any problems.  There are a few chances that people may show out to see Kannappa on the big screen, even if it is also being released in Hindi.

Since Akshay isn't playing a significant part, there is no possibility that anybody will purchase tickets for him, and the other actors in the main parts aren't well-known to fans in North India.  Only prabhas has generated excitement from the preview, not Akshay.  Since Baahubali, hindi viewers have been familiar with Prabhas.  However, nobody would want to go to the theaters, even if prabhas made a brief appearance.  The likelihood of Kannappa surviving in North india is now zero, despite the fact that it is anticipated to make some incredible business in telugu states.
