There is finally an end to the long-running rumors of two of India's greatest movie stars working together. rahul Raut (PeepingMoon.com), an insider, claims that it is official that allu arjun would play the lead role in Atlee's next mega-budget, two-hero historical drama. The project has received approval from allu arjun, and according to sources, it will probably be his next after pushpa 2. Kalanithi Maran's sun Pictures will produce the movie. sun Pictures has produced Robo, Sarkar, Beast, Jailer, and the forthcoming Rajinikanth-Lokesh kanagaraj movie Coolie. According to the sources, making the movie might cost more than 600 crores.

It's interesting to note that this is the same project that was originally planned with salman Khan. However, sun Pictures refused to fund a film led by salman because he is no longer commercially viable for such a large project, so atlee's first choice, allu arjun, took over. The film is a high-octane period saga with a reincarnation theme, and it promises to deliver stunning visuals and grand-scale storytelling. It is a two-hero project, though the second male lead has not yet been cast. 

Allu Arjun's mythological film with trivikram srinivas, which needs a lot of pre-production and script development, has now been pushed aside in favor of Atlee's film, which is being accelerated with plans to be finished by the first quarter of next year. The movie will also feature three major heroines, with janhvi kapoor reportedly in contention for one of the roles.
